Back home!

Today, around 11:45, the wonderful TransMed people came and loaded Mama up. After successfully getting her back home, a Hospice nurse assessed her to make sure she was comfortable after being transported. She's settled into her new hospital bed quite nicely. It's important that we keep rotating her as much as possible in order to prevent bed sores and such, so we move her as frequently as we can and as frequently as she feels she can. We know people want to come visit and we are so thankful that they do, but please try to keep it inbetween 9-10 am or 2-3 pm. We appreciate everything everyone is doing for us! Keep praying!

Myself (Kerry Unger) and many others have been reading your blog and appreciating the updates. We are praying for a peaceful journey through all of this for each of you. 5. You are all in my thoughts and prayers...every single day! Lori is SUCH a fighter...such an inspiration and a true woman of God! May you each feel God's loving arms around you and cherish each other's love!
    Always, Ann

P.S. Would Lori be interested in my bringing my keyboard over and playing some tunes? I could play hymns, Broadway, whatever I know...and it could be Lori's own personal concert! Just let me know! xoxoxoxo

  6. Hey Girl! We all miss you so much at HGTC. The FA office sends our love and prayers to you. Please know that you are in our thoughts daily. All of your students miss you as well, especially the last one I sent you (lol).

BTW, you missed the biggest registration ever, but this will make you smile.....the president and cabinet worked in our neck of the woods for several days. Our Prez knows a thing or two about crowd control, he did a wonderful job! :)

    Miss u much!

  7. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not tremble nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
    Joshua 1:9

    Hello Mrs. Lori!

I apologize for not being able to visit you, however my parents do keep me updated on your progress. I just wanted to take the time to sincerely tell you that you are an inspiration to many and are in so many prayers! I know that God is shining down on you, and guiding you through this. Your strength is phenomenal, and courage a true blessing. You have so much support from not only your family, but friends, and anyone else who is inspired by your story...

The truth is, the bible verse is not only for you...but for your family as well. The Lord is with you all, never lose the faith! May God Bless you all and Keep you safe, just as he's been doing all along!
